Message We have been working on this kit for some time now.

With the growing need for a higher power holding clutch than what is currently available in a single disk set-up we saw the need for a affordable single disk clutch set-up (under $600 for the clutch kit) that will hold very high power levels, made for the track or drag strip and still be very drivable on the street and outlast any other 6 puck clutch. This kit is also "SFI" approved and rebuildable.

We are going to offer this set-up in a full race version or street version. The street series will be good well into the 750 torque area and the race version is well above that.

What we have come up with is a SFI approved clutch set using our already indestructable DXD-F 6 puck feramic disk with our enclosed sprung hub and a new pressure plate design that is years ahead in technology than the current pressure plate being used in most of the twin turbo clutch kits available including ours.

The new pressure plate has a 11-1 pivot ratio which is much better than the current plate being used. I believe the current plate is somewhere around 7-1 ratio. This makes for a much easier pedal pressure per PSI of plate load. This also makes the clutch easier to use and just makes the whole entire clutch work better. Releases are smoother, transitions are quicker.

The new pressure plate is around 4 lbs lighter than the current pressure plate which takes 4 more lbs of rotating mass off you engine. It is also smaller in diameter which makes it great for Drag racing or the track.

This kit will still use the 250MM twin turbo size clutch disk.

The kit is a direct bolt on to a NA non-turbo flywheel so this is the perfect choice for a person using a NA flywheel/trans in a NA>TT swap. The new pressure plate due to its size and technology allows us to still use a 250mm Twin turbo disk VS the 240MM non-turbo disk.

The Twin turbo flywheel will need to be redrilled to accept the kit. We will do this for you at a reasonable price, we will redrill the flywheel, completely balance the clutch/flywheel assy, resurface the flywheel and return it to you. Once we get your fly it will only take 1-2 days to perform the repairs/updates needed by our machinist.

All the other needed info will be in my classified ad shortly.

I installed this clutch kit in my Z yesterday and it is smooth as butter on take offs and shifting.
It is very easy to drive, as easy or easier than my later full face kit. The thing I really like about it is how well the transitions from gear to gear are. With the puck disk and the new pressure plate the exactness of the clutch pedal is incredible.
